Desktop Support Technician

We are looking to employ a Desktop Support Technician to join our team and allow us to enhance the already extensive range of managed services offered by our company.

Job Description

  • Installation and troubleshooting of Microsoft Operating Systems and related software, such as Microsoft Office
  • Installation and troubleshooting of other software solutions according to client’s requirements
  • Assist end-users with any technical issues and guide them where necessary
  • Troubleshooting of entry-level networks up to edge switch

Requirements for the post

  • The successful candidate will possess the following:
  • IT-related diploma, or currently studying on a part-time basis for an IT diploma or degree
  • Preferably hold an A+ IT Technician certification
  • Experience working with Microsoft Operating Systems and basic networking
  • Ability to take ownership of a problem/issue and see it through to completion
  • Flexibility, ability to work to tight deadlines and to handle multiple tasks while prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills, are all necessary skills for this job
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
  • Clean driving license
